Align Your Chakras

What exactly are the Chakras, and why would you want to align them?

They are a complex and ancient energy system that originated in India. They were first mentioned in the Vedas, ancient sacred texts of spiritual knowledge dating from 1500 to 1000 BC. Chakra translates to “wheel” and refers to energy points in your body. They are thought to be spinning spheres of energy that when “open” and “aligned”, allow you to feel your best.  The main 7 Chakras correspond to bundles of nerves, major organs, and areas of our energetic body that affect our emotional, mental and physical well-being.

This workshop will offer an opportunity to lean more about the chakras, and begin to shift energy through movement, breath work, intention setting, and sound healing.

Like Fine Wine

This class is centered around empowering participants to embrace their yoga bodies gracefully, regardless of age, or experience. This gentle, flow style of class will offer a variety of pose options with use of props for support. The instructor will offer a variety of modifications to encourage the safe and comfortable participation of everyone. All levels- BEGINNERS WELCOME!

Peace Amongst the Chaos

It has been a long couple of years filled with uncertainty, rapid changes, and isolation. This 3 week mini series is centred around releasing, letting go, and moving forward feeling more aligned. We will move through journaling, intention setting, breath work, gentle supportive yoga, and guided meditation. This deeply restorative practice is meant to calm the nervous system, and bring peace to the body, mind, heart and soul. 

Monday’s from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. — February 28- March 21, 2022 (No Class March 14)

Thursday Afternoon Yin

Yin yoga is all about creating space in the body, mind, heart and soul. Long holds in supported postures allow us to release tension in the deepest tissues in our body (i.e. seated or laying on the floor, supported with bolsters and props). This meditative practice can help ease discomfort in the physical body, release stress from the mind, and help to shift emotions that are feeling heavy. No experience with yoga is necessary, all levels welcome in this class. 

Thursday’s from 1:30-2:30 pm. — March 3- April 14, 2022 (No class March 31)
